initiatives to support Ukraine
Stand for Ukraine Brighton&Hove community group is working to support and develop the Ukrainian community of the Brighton and Hove area.
As our community's thoughts are with those now in Ukraine, community members are running several fundraising projects to support their Motherland in challenging times.
Support animals affected by the war in Ukraine
The project is raising money to purchase and deliver pet food and pet care items to Ukraine. We are working with a charity in the Kharkiv region, which russian attacks have badly damaged. We also work with the veterinary hospital for working dogs, such as sniffer dogs.
After the disaster of Nova Kahovka Dam and the flooding of part of the Kherson Region, we also support shelters that host rescued animals.
More than 3 tonnes of pet food and pet care items sent for Ukraine

Medical supplys to Ukraine
The project is raising money to purchase and deliver medical supplys to Ukraine
120 israely bandages, 95 cellox rapid, 87 tourniqets, 10 chest seals, 10 stretchers, 6 splint are already sent to Ukraine

Generators for Ukraine
This project is raising money to purchase and deliver electrical generators, and large power banks (power stations) for the Ukrainian non-profit organization Hromadska Varta which provides immediate humanitarian Aid in Kharkiv Region and on territories recently freed from the russian invasion.
More than 40 generators are delivered and 6 more are traveling to Ukraine
