Yesterday, we honoured the victims of the Holodomor, the soviet-engineered famine that extinguished millions of Ukrainian lives in 1932–33.

For decades, the evidence was hidden in archives, and the voices trying to speak of the genocide were silenced. But today, we speak for them. It is vital to learn from history so that it never repeats.

Another night of terror in Ukraine.

Russia's overnight strikes on Kyiv killed at least fifteen people, including a six-year-old boy. More than 80 were injured, ten of them children.

Kyiv was the main target in a wave of attacks that also struck the Dnipro, Poltava, Sumy, and Mykolaiv regions.

And there is so much pain behind these numbers.
