Who is Stand for U
(Stand For Ukraine)
we are standing with Ukraine and working to support Ukrainians in Brighton and Hove areas
24 February 2022 changed our lives once and forever. That day, russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and we could not stay aside.
We formed a community group with charitable aims to support the local Ukrainian community of Brighton and Hove and promote Ukrainian culture and history.
We are now in the process of registering a charity to support victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters in the UK and abroad.
Our Story
Our group started on 24.02.2022 after the first Brighton and Hove protests.
The group was officially constituted in December 2022.
