We give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We can give information and advice on benefits, housing , employment, education, money and other areas. We tell people what they can do, what their rights are, and work with people to make a plan to move them forward.

Our national charity and network of local charities offer confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free.

There are Citizens Advice offices in most towns. Brighton and Hove's office is in Hove. We are independent, we are not part of the council or the government. Anything you tell us is treated confidentially - we won't share it with anyone unless you want us to.

Our lines are open during the times listed below. We aim to answer calls as quickly we can, however our lines can be very busy. If you can’t get through straight away, you will be put through to one of our national call centre advisers where available. You can also request a call back or email advice by using our online enquiry form. DO NOT COME TO OUR OFFICE IN PERSON - we are not open to the public in person due to coronavirus restrictions. However, we may be able to arrange an in person meeting if you contact us by phone or online. INTERPRETER SERVICE - if you call us, we are able to arrange a call back with an interpreter.
