MAID FOR UKRAINE is a charitable event where British and Ukrainian people raise money to support two charitable causes in Ukraine. The first is to purchase and deliver first aid items to the Kharkiv region, while the second is to buy an electro generator for Pershotravenskyi Lyceum of Baranivka Town Council in the Zitomir region. The latter is a new school for 60 students from internally displaced families.

Three fantastic Ukrainian cores - VOLYA, KOLO and UKRAINIAN VOICES, a stunning duet of Ukrainian singer-songwriter Dina Shenderetska and flautist Polina Loubnina and incredible Sussex Pistols Barn Dance Band will perform on the day. Most Ukrainians, whom you`ll see on stage, have come to the UK since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and are trying to find their way into the UK and keep their Ukrainian identity alive.
